E-mail System Experiencing Difficulty

E-mail and Webmail systems continue to experience intermittent service delays since Monday morning, Nov. 2. At 9:20 p.m., Monday, all e-mail queues were cleared and all e-mail was delivered. Service delays began again Tuesday morning at approximately 10 a.m.

UITS has formed an incident team to identify and resolve the e-mail problems as quickly as possible. In order to diagnose the problem more efficiently and eliminate all possible causes, several internal processes, including the CatMail Opt In and migration processes, have been temporarily suspended.

Update on Reductions in Libraries' Resources

Why do we need to reduce spending on Library acquisitions?

Despite campus efforts to hold the Libraries' Information Access Budget harmless, the cost of information resources (books, journals, bibliographic databases, etc.) increases each year, necessitating a reduction in our purchases. read more »
