E-mail System Experiencing Difficulty

E-mail and Webmail systems continue to experience intermittent service delays since Monday morning, Nov. 2. At 9:20 p.m., Monday, all e-mail queues were cleared and all e-mail was delivered. Service delays began again Tuesday morning at approximately 10 a.m.

UITS has formed an incident team to identify and resolve the e-mail problems as quickly as possible. In order to diagnose the problem more efficiently and eliminate all possible causes, several internal processes, including the CatMail Opt In and migration processes, have been temporarily suspended.

You may continue to experience delays in sending or receiving e-mail until the issue is resolved. An update will be posted at that time on the 24/7 Web site, http://247.arizona.edu. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and greatly appreciate your patience.
